A COMPLETE CONSULTATION: FROM RESEARCH TO LOGISTICS.

Complementary services for a complete support and the guarantee of safe and quality products.

LAB TEST

Intercon’s internal laboratory is able to carry out all the necessary tests, before placing the product on the market. A team of specialised chemists and biologists performs formula stability tests and compatibility tests with the target packaging. To ensure the impartiality and reliability of the analysis and the results, all samples are subjected to a second check in an external lab. Only after this additional check, the samples continue in the various phases of development and production.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

The Research and Development department is one of the added values that Intercon offers, compared to other contractors. It guarantees the study and development of products, transforming customers’ ideas into real projects. This service is achieved through specialized operators, certified and state-of-the-art tools, and study and analysis of new market trends. The R&D team manages all the implementation steps: from the idea to the creation of the formula, from laboratory tests, to the production of high-quality certified products.

1

DESIGN

Comparison with the marketing department for market analysis, target identification and positioning. On the basis of the resulting guidelines, the semi-finished product is then manufactured.

2

FORMULATION

Creation of a unique cosmetic formula that complies with the highest standards of safety and quality. Intercon boasts the production of about 200 new formulas per year, all tailored to stability tests

3

LAB TESTS

Lab tests and subsequent realization of a sample for approval. The tests are used to ensure the quality of the sample and check the suitability of raw materials and the bulk produced.

4

STABILITY AND COMPATIBILITY

Carrying out stability tests – by checkingthe standards of chemical-physical quality, safety, functionality and pleasantness – and compatibility tests with the packaging, to ensure that there are no substance migrations.

5

CHALLENGE TEST

Challenge tests test to assess the effectiveness of the cosmetic product preservation system during production, storage and the entire period of use, by the final consumer.
